Overview
Tømreren Gepetto er ensom og ønsker sig brændende en søn. Til at holde sig selskab udskærer han en marionetdukke, som han døber Pinocchio. Ved et mirakel vækkes dukken til live, og for en stund ser Gepettos største ønske ud til at være gået i opfyldelse. Pinocchios nysgerrige natur skaber dog også problemer for parret.
