Overview
Hundehvalpen Silver er fortællingen om den utrolige hundehvalp, Silver. Silver er en bjørnehund og trænes op af Den gamle mand, Takeda Gohie, til at tage opgøret mod monsterbjørnen Akakabooto. Silver glemmer aldrig Akakabootos lugt, da det var den bjørn, der dræbte hans elskede far, da de stod ansigt til ansigt med hinanden. En dag møder Silver nogle vilde hunde oppe i bjergene. De rekutterer hunde til at opgøret mod monsterbjørnen. Silver overbeviser de vilde hunde om at han skal deltage i opgøret.
