概要
フランス、ヌーヴェル・ヴァーグの決定打と言わしめたジャン＝リュック・ゴダール監督の最高傑作。警官を殺してパリに逃げて来た自転車泥棒のミシェルは、アメリカ人の恋人パトリシアとお互い自由で束縛のない関係を楽しんでいた。そんなある日、彼の元に警察の手が及んでくる。パトリシアはミシェルの愛を確かめる為、彼の居場所を警察に密告、そして彼にも同様に警察が追ってきた事を伝えるが……。
