개요
자동차 사고에서 무사히 탈출한 사진 모델 시몬은 공허한 삶에 의미를 부여할 유일한 방법이 아이를 갖는 것이라 결심한다. 그녀는 절친 필리프에게 임신시켜 달라고 부탁하고, 필리프는 사막 어딘가에서 임신시키기로 조건을 걸고 마지못해 동의한다. 이에 그들은 적합한 장소를 찾기 위해 몬트리올을 떠나 솔트레이크시티로 24시간 왕복 여행을 떠난다.
