Met de hulp van meer dan 10.000 toegewijde Zappa-fans is dit het langverwachte definitieve documentaireproject van Alex Winter, waarin het leven en de carrière van de raadselachtige, baanbrekende rockster Frank Zappa worden gedocumenteerd. Alex maakt voor deze foto ook gebruik van duizenden uren zorgvuldig gedigitaliseerde video's, foto's, audio, tekst en alles daartussenin uit Zappa's privéarchieven. Deze kronieken zijn tot nu toe nog nooit eerder voor een publiek publiek gebracht.
