Overview
Året är 2151 och mänskligheten står efter sekler av forskning på randen till att på allvar börja kunna utforska universum - inte minst tack vare Henry Archers banbrytande utveckling av Warp-motorn. Hans son, Jonathan, är nu befälhavare för rymdflottans stolthet, Enterprise NX-01, som i väntan på sitt första uppdrag befinner sig i rymddocka långt ovan jorden. Samtidigt inträffar något oväntat i Broken Bow, Oklahoma. Något som får kapten Archer att samla ihop sin historiska besättning snabbare än planerat.
