Netflix is looking to create a third mystery-comedy film featuring their “homegrown star” Millie Bobby Brown.
Netflix’s film chief, Scott Stuber, now tells Collider that the streaming giant has a third film in the works featuring the teenage detective Enola Holmes, portrayed by Millie Bobby Brown.
“You know, she (Millie Bobby Brown) is such a great homegrown star for us. I mean, obviously ‘Stranger Things’ has been massive for us in that way, where you see her grow as an actress,” says Scott Stuber to Collider, continuing, “The intellectual property of Holmes is so oddly elastic. Warner Bros. obviously did a fantastic job with Downey and Jude Law, so the idea that we can expand that intellectual property with her is exciting. So, we’re working on a script again to make it happen. But yeah, it’s an aspiration we have. I would love to do another one.”
What “Enola Holmes 3” will be about is currently unknown. In the meantime, it’s possible to watch the first two films on Netflix.
